With Starfield being the center of the Xbox 2023 Showcase last week, Bethesda gave us a deep dive into one of the biggest games this generation. It is very disappointing that the full scope of its predatory microtransaction system was obscured until after its release – and an extended and unannounced server outage shortly after its arrival that left us unable to play for over a day didn’t exactly help its always-online case either – but there’s still a damn great racing game beneath those blemishes. With gorgeous graphics, a terrific driving feel, and more customisation options than ever before, Gran Turismo 7 is easily the best the series has been since its utter domination of the genre during the PS1 and PS2 generations. With iconic Gran Turismo tracks reappearing alongside the proper single-player career experience that the PS1 originally pioneered, Gran Turismo 7 is as warmly nostalgic as it is cutting-edge. Gran Turismo 7Īfter nearly a decade since the last traditional, numbered GT installment – and arriving just in time for the 25th anniversary of Sony’s biggest first-party series – Gran Turismo 7 is a very welcome return to form. 来週、アップデート来ます。 #GT7 #GranTurismo7 pic.twitter.2022 was a great year for all types of racers as it saw the return of Gran Turismo and Need for Speed as well as new entries in the F1, WRC, and Horizon Chase series. Recently, Yamauchi also said that Polyphony Digital and Sony were “considering” bringing the game to PC- read more on that through here. Gran Turismo 7 is available on PS5 and PS4. Yamauchi also confirmed that the update will be arriving “next” week, which likely means it’ll be out by Wednesday, since that’s been the pattern for most previous updates that he’s teased. Either way, we’ll know more soon enough, so stay tuned. Polyphony Digital boss and Gran Turismo producer Kazunori Yamauchi recently took to Twitter and, with one of his monthly tweets regarding forthcoming updates, confirmed that Gran Turismo 7’s December update will add five new cars to the games, showing the silhouettes of the five cars in an image (automobile enthusiasts, sleuth away). December’s update will be arriving soon, and we have had a glimpse at what it’ll bring to the racing sim.

Since it launched earlier this year, Gran Turismo 7 has received routine monthly updates that, among various additions and fixes, have also consistently kept adding to the game’s already-extensive roster of cars.
